Pongamia Kernel Oil / Karanj kernel Oil

Derisom^® - KKO is derived from Pongamia pinnata / Pongamia glabra / Karanj Seed Kernels which is used as feedstock for extraction of Karanj Kernel Oil. Pongamia( Karanj) Seed Kernels are cold pressed to get Pongamia( Karanj) Kernel Cake and Cold Pressed Karanj Kernel Oil (KKO).

The Pongamia (Karanj) Kernel Cake (PKC) is either marketed in the same form or blended with pulp and husk to market as Pongamia Cake.

Cold pressed Karanj kernel oil is used as natural carrier for karanj extract in making commercial EC formulations. Cold pressed KKO is also used along with natural saponification agents as tree oil in orchards.

Derisom^® KKO and its formulations should be applied after using an eye protection equipment / goggles and nose mask as the drift from the spray causes eye irritation.

Derisom^® KkO contains all-natural principles available in Pongamia seed kernel.

Actives present in Derisom^® KkO are surmised to work as an Insect growth regulator, an anti-feedant on adult and nymphs of thrips, mites, scales and other sucking pests like jassids, aphids and white flies.

• Derisom^® KkO based formulations effectively controls most of the economically damaging pests such as thrips, mites, scales, aphids, jassids, white flies, flea battles, and various other suckling insects.

Compatibility

• Derisom^® KkO based formulations are compatible with Biopesticides and other conventional chemical pesticides.

• Derisom^® KkO based formulations can be mixed with conventional chemical pesticides/ chemical fertilizers as a tank mix and drench / spray immediately on soil / crops.
