Nano Iron contains Nano particles of Iron which measure less than 100 nano metre. It has 10,000 ppm (1 %) of Nano Iron particles.

Bioavailability: Iron is ionized and embedded in a matrix of colloidal near nano size amino acid and this matrix is again coated with a biopolymer and thus the iron ion is shielded and is not coming into contact directly thus avoiding free radical generation and lipid peroxidation and does not lead to the production of highly reactive hydroxyl radicals by the Fenton reaction, or alkoxyl and peroxyl radicals from the breakdown of lipid peroxides and hence considered safe.

Kinetics: Light and electron microscope analyses have demonstrated that Iron nano particles promoted plant growth by altering the leaf organization and increasing the chloroplast number and grana stacking. They also aid in regulating the development of vascular bundles. Nano particles could also be absorbed in the roots and then transported to the central cylinder in bio-available forms, where they were translocated and utilized by the leaves and stems.

  • • Nano Iron owing to its small particle size is immediately bio available and is quickly absorbed by plants
  • • Aids in photosynthesis and respiration of plants
  • • Iron being an essential catalyst for may biological plant functions becomes available preventing leaf necrosis and interveinal chlorosis
  • • Highly photostable, does not oxidise in sunlight
  • • Compatible with all Biofertilizers, chemical pesticides, fertilizers, micronutrients, PGRs, botanicals
  • • Works in high and low temperature
  • • Works in high and low humidity
  • • Non-Phytotoxic
  • • Environmentally safe and biodegradable
  • • Works in high and low humidity

  • Types of formulation

Nano iron is available as a soluble liquid formulation

  • Application method Notes

Soil application: Nano iron can be used as under:

    • 1. Mix Nano Iron at recommended doses in sufficient water and drench soil as soon as deficiency symptoms are observed
    • 2. Drip Irrigation: If there are insoluble particles, filter the solution and add to drip tank.
    • 3. Long duration crops / Perennial / Orchard crops: Dissolve Nano Iron at recommended doses in sufficient water and apply as a drenching spray near root zone twice a year. It is recommended to have first application before the onset of the main monsoon / rainfall/ spring season and second application after the main monsoon / rainfall / autumn/ fall season.

Foliar application: Mix Nano Iron at recommended doses in sufficient water and spray on foliage. Apply twice a year for long duration crops. It is recommended to have first application before the onset of the main monsoon / rainfall/ spring season and second application after the main monsoon / rainfall / autumn/ fall season.

Note: Do not store Nano iron solution for more than 24 hours after mixing in water.

  • Compatibility

Compatible with biofertilizers, organic fertilizers, organic manures, biopesticides, vermicompost, sea kelp (seaweed fertilizer), protein hydrolysates, organic carbon and rock phosphate.

Note: It is advisable to have a one-week gap if soil application chemicals / pesticides are to be used after application of Nano Iron.
