Nano Nutrient for Agriculture

Nano Phos is based on nano phosphorus particles encapsulated by a chitosan-based bio polymer, embedded on an amino acid and suspended in water. Nano Phos has a particle size of less than 100 nano meter with a potency of 10,000 ppm. Nano Phos does not come under the Schedule of Fertilizer Act (FCO)/ Fertilizer regulatory

Nano Phos provides the plant with bio available phosphorus. Phosphorus is a key macro nutrient of various biological functions like photosynthesis and respiration in plants.

Phosphorus is a mined compound and we will reach a phosphorus peaking in the next 3 decades which means consumption will equal production which could have implications on price elasticity being high. A judicious use is therefore important

Chemical Phosphorus application gets either fixed or leached into oceans causing huge algal blooms which result in europhication of marine eco systems and harming the flora and fauna in waters.

To address this Nano Phos was developed to make Phosphorus more bio available. This is able to replace convention Phosphatic fertilizers and address problems like leaching and fixation making it a sustainable alternative solution to conventional chemical fertilizers.

Composition Mode of Action Nano Phos benefits

Nano Phos contains Nano particles of Phosphorus which measure less than 100 nano metre. It has 10,000 ppm (1 %) of Nano Phosphorus particles.

Bioavailability: Nano particles of phosphorus are transported through the plant cellular system making it bio available. The small particle size prevents Phosphorus fixing or getting leached out. It also aids in re mineralisation and protein assimilation

Dose and Application

Application method Notes
Soil application: Nano Phos can be used as under:
- 1. Mix Nano Phos at recommended doses in sufficient water and drench soil as directed in table at different crop life stages.
- 2. Drip Irrigation: If there are insoluble particles, filter the solution and add to drip tank.
- 3. Long duration crops / Perennial / Orchard crops: Dissolve Nano Iron at recommended doses in sufficient water and apply as a drenching spray near root zone twice a year. It is recommended to have first application before the onset of the main monsoon / rainfall/ spring season and second application after the main monsoon / rainfall / autumn/ fall season.
Foliar application: Mix Nano Phos at recommended doses in sufficient water and spray on foliage. Apply twice a year for long duration crops. It is recommended to have first application before the onset of the main monsoon / rainfall/ spring season and second application after the main monsoon / rainfall / autumn/ fall season.

Note: Do not store Nano Phos solution for more than 24 hours after mixing in water.
Compatibility

Compatible with biofertilizers, organic fertilizers, organic manures, biopesticides, vermicompost, sea kelp (seaweed fertilizer), protein hydrolysates, organic carbon and rock phosphate.

Storage

Store in ambient temperature, not more than 45 degrees Celsius. Preferably store between 4 – 10-degree Celsius. Keep container closed after use. Store in a dry place.
