Margosom® NF contains Azadirachtin as the active ingredient, formulated as an oil . Azadirachtin is the marker active compound and all other components of neem seed kernel have remained intact in the extract without being fractionated. Azadirachtin extract, actives like nimbin and nimbidin, and all other natural bitter principles, actives, solvent and emulsifiers constitute the formulation composition.

Margosom® NF when sprayed on plant surface forms a thin uniform coating on the leaves. The thin coating does not interfere with the process of photosynthesis or transpiration. The thin coating offers barrier to mycelial penetration thus supressing the growth of many fungal diseases and reduces plant pathogenicity.

  • • Margosom® NF effectively managers to supress a wide range of fungal diseases.
  • • Can be used with conventional chemical pesticides, thus optimizing pesticide usage.
  • • Non-phytotoxic
  • • Safe to parasites, pollinators and predators
  • • It does not lead to Pre-Harvest Interval issues
  • • No re-entry barrier issues
  • • No Maximum Residue Limit issues
  • • No resistance problems
  • • Environmentally safe and biodegradable
  • • Approved for use in organic agriculture

  • Types of formulation

Margosom® NF is available as a liquid formulation

  • Dose and Application

The following table gives details on Application methods and doses for the different formulations

    Application type Liquid formulation
    Dose 10 ml /L
Foliar application Typical acre dose: 2L
    Typical hectare dose: 5L
    Mix Margosom® NF @ 10ml/L and Bindu @ 0.3ml/L water.
Bindu is a silicon spray adjuvant which improves bioefficacy
Apply spray solution at early insect emergence stage and follow up spray at one week interval
    Sample plan
    Week 1: Spray Margosom® NF + Bindu
    Week2: Spray Margosom® NF + Bindu
    Week 3: Spray Margosom® NF + Bindu
  • Application method Notes

Foliar application: Margosom® NF can be used as under:

    1. A Uv protectant like a blue dyeis is suggested to be used as a spray adjuvant to protect degradation of actives from UV rays.

    2. Mix Margosom® NF and Bindu at recommended doses in sufficient water and spray on foliage.

    3. Mix Bindu @ 0.3 ml/L spray fluid which improves bioefficacy. Bindu is a silicon spray adjuvant which helps in super spreading and penetration of Margosom® NF.

    4. The spray volume depends upon the crop canopy. Spray at early stage of insect emergence and give 1 – 2 follow up sprays at 4-5 days interval.

    5. Drift from Margosom® NF spray fluid may cause eye irritation Therefore it is advisable that the operator to wear eye protection glass with side shields and nose mask while mixing and spraying the product

    Note:

Do not store Margosom® NF solution for more than 24 hours after mixing in water.

  • Compatibility

    • • Margosom® NF is compatible with Biopesticides and other conventional chemical pesticides.
